This "Mercury" aircraft serves as a vital communication link between the nation's nuclear submarine fleet and the President. The delivery of the aircraft is a critical part of a larger contract valued at $111 million awarded to Northrop Grumman. The objective of this contract is to ensure the long-term and sustainable operational efficiency of these aircraft. After departing from the company's facility in Louisiana, the aircraft was transported to its new station at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma.
