Albanese is 'very conflicted' on asylum seeker turnbacks issue: Panahi

Sky News host Rita Panahi says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is “personally very conflicted” on the issue of turning back asylum seekers. “This is one of those issues where he was steadfast for most of his political career and he’s had a late change of heart,” she said. “This is an issue, and you know they’re going to weaken those border protection policies.” Ms Panahi said the government has already said they are “not signing up to every facet” of the Coalition's policy. “You need to have every facet working in unison otherwise the thing falls apart.”
